Once upon a time, in the city of Ahmedabad, India, lived a man named Gautam. A manufacturer of electric wires, he was known for his sharp mind and strong will. His business was average due to the competition of the market. But beneath that tough exterior was a heart filled with hidden kindness, compassion, and empathy.

One day, he noticed a shadow of worry clouding the usually cheerful face of Mahesh, one of his most dedicated workers.

Upon inquiry, Gautam came to know about Mahesh's daughter, Geeta, who was suffering from a critical heart condition. The expensive operation needed for her recovery was beyond Mahesh's meager means. Gautam, deeply moved by Mahesh's plight, decided to help.

He dipped into his personal savings and anonymously paid for Geeta's operation. He also arranged for her post-operative care at a prestigious hospital. He did all this without expecting anything in return, believing that acts of kindness should be selfless and pure.

Weeks later, Geeta recovered completely. Her vibrant laughter filled the once-gloomy household, and Mahesh's heart brimmed with gratitude for his anonymous benefactor. He vowed to repay the kindness someday, even if it meant dedicating his life to serving him.

One evening, while working late at the factory, Gautam received an urgent call. A fire had broken out in the main warehouse, threatening to decimate his entire inventory. Panic surged through the workers, but Mahesh remained calm and collected.

With his years of experience in the factory's layout and meticulous attention to detail, Mahesh devised a plan to contain the fire and save the valuable wires. He led the team with courage and precision, putting himself in danger to ensure the safety of others.

Thus, Mahesh's quick thinking and bravery, the fire was extinguished with minimal damage. Gautam, witnessing his employee's heroism, was overwhelmed with emotion. He realized that Mahesh's act of selflessness was a karmic return for his own kindness.

From that day on, their relationship transcended mere employer-employee boundaries. Gautam treated Mahesh with the utmost respect and appreciation, valuing his loyalty and dedication. Mahesh, in turn, continued to work with unwavering commitment, forever grateful for the man who had given his daughter a second chance at life.

The incident served as a powerful reminder to Gautam that kindness, like a wave, ripples outward, touching lives and returning in unexpected ways. He continued to support his employees and their families, making his success a testament to the power of compassion and the interconnectedness of humanity.

The help made by anyone without any expectation always comes back as a reward in the same recompense.

This is karmic philosophy.
